The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at 25345 Crenshaw Boulevard B, Torrance, California.

I've been coming to this Coffee Bean for years and have never had any problems, never met any rude employees. Everyone had always been really nice and friendly. I had stopped going in for a couple months over the holidays but started coming back in a few months ago. But the more times I've gone in there now the more times I've noticed that the feeling of the place has changed a bit. It's not quite as outgoing or happy? I won't go as far as to say the employees are not nice or helpful but they are just more... reserved now. Some of the employees are still super friendly but they are the ones I have know for years.

I'm guessing the changed is due to the manager Eric leaving? The GM they have now, Desire, is a complete nightmare to deal with. Of all my years going here I have never met such a rude worker. And I know it just can't be me either, she just does not seem to friendly towards anyone, not even the other employees, so much in fact that I feel sorry for the employees. It feels like a really somber atmosphere in the at times right now. If I knew what days and when she worked I would probably even go so far as to not go in during these times. The Coffee Bean franchise should seriously consider replacing her with a new GM. I really do not enjoy bad mouthing people at all but she just does not make this a nice place to go into anymore and she certianly does not make it seem like a nice atmosphere to work in either.
