Friar Tux Shop at 2535 Pacific Coast Highway, Torrance, California.

Had the displeasure of going into this place today to get myself and all my groomsmen fitted and measured for suites for my wedding in April. For whatever reason all my groomsmen including my soon to be father in law and my own father were called ahead of me as well as the people that walked in after I did. The manager/employee who’s name I can’t remember but she has short hair and glasses, looked at me and asked have you been helped yet when she knew I was the groom and had to be taken care of first since we are paying for everything, but no!!!!

I’m 6ft tall and have a bodybuilders build, broad shoulders, big chest and a wide back. She looked at me and said

“we don’t have anything that fits you, we will have to mix and match”.

Are you jokIng!?!

“come back on Wednesday but in themeantime I’ll measure your neck” then she hands me a dirty shirt which is 3 sizes too big to try on like she’s doing her job or something. I wanted to put a stop to everything right then and there. I told her I’ll never do “suit separates” mix and matching for my wedding isn’t something I would ever do on a regular day much and I for sure don’t plan on starting on my wedding. Now I have a sour taste in my mouth and have to go to my regular suit place in the valley that actually makes quality suits and doesn’t brush you off especially when you brought them 10 people in 1 freaking day!!!!

I honesty don’t want anyone getting suited here from my party but it’s too late to mess around now. Big dudes beware of this place.. call ahead to find out if they have something for you before you make the drive from the valley to deep Torrance for over an hour in traffic
